Missing St. Albans Teen Emilee Kirk Located, Sheriff's Office Says
The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office says 14-year-old Emilee Grace Kirk, reported missing late Friday in St. Albans, has been located.
UPDATE, Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026: The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office says 14-year-old Emilee Grace Kirk has been located by deputies. The sheriff's office did not share any further details about her condition. Thank you to everyone across the Kanawha Valley who shared her alert and kept watch.
Emilee had been reported missing after she was last seen around 11:45 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, in the Swans Court area of St. Albans.
The search drew extra urgency because Emilee is a Type 1 diabetic who needs regular medication, and deputies said she did not have that medication with her. The sheriff's office had also said she was experiencing some personal challenges and might need immediate support.
Because she has been found, we have removed her photo from this story. We're glad to see this one end with her located, and we wish Emilee and her family the support they need in the days ahead.
This is what we do in West Virginia: we look out for each other.
